Android or Ipad


Thinking of purchasing a new tablet?

Wondering, which tablet or slate should you use?

Which has a better edge than the other?

From a "business user" perspective I have done my research on iPad2 and Samsung Galaxy Tablet and here's my comparison on some of their most important features with good and bad points

Apple iPad2

  • Consumers would be attracted to Ipads smooth and sleek white body
  • Comes with a revolutionary Retina display (iPad 3)
  • High resolution photographs are sharp
  • Has camera with image stabilisation( front and rear)
  • Weight 611 grams, Dual core processor
  • Video chat capabilities
  • Apple has produced the Apple store, iPad, and iCloud giving a simple user experience

Samsung Galaxy

  • Bigger display at 10.1 inch
  • Camera is mounted at the middle
  • Weight 564 grams
  • Memory choices(16 GB and 32 GB)
  • Battery lasts about 2 days
  • Interface is slow to respond
  • Samsung Kies (update and PC management program) for the Galaxy Tab has a number of issues on Visa and windows 7


"iPad has the market in 2012 - no questions, but android is a direct competitor with a very good product. Given time, Apple will dilute the market share".

Great review. The best so far. But I think you left out some of key iptarmont features on the HP Touchpad such as the keyboard is adjustable, the calendar and Native Facebook application? Then there's touch to share and the Touchstone charger. Well, after 2 months of use I sold my iPad2 and replaced it with the HP Touchpad. Haven't missed the iPad2 since. I do also have a Galaxy Tab 7 and actually hate 2.2 Android. Not sure if the Honeycomb experience can win me over WebOS.

This is really an amazing post that i have seen. There us competion going under Android as well as iOS, we cannot tell whether to get a Android tablets or the iPad, but the new Google tab seems to be interesting to have.
